Hello I’m Christopher Hamilton, welcome to my little corner of the web.

I’m a writer and communications professional from Edinburgh, Scotland.

I’m also the Head of Communications and Marketing for World Curling, who are the International Governing Body for the Olympic sport of curling and Paralympic sport of wheelchair curling.

That role has taken me to two Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games so far — PyeongChang 2018 and Beijing 2022 — and I’m currently preparing to take my team to Milano Cortina 2026.

It also gave me the opportunity to be the Managing Editor for World Curling’s book about the history of curling in the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games: “Granite and Gold: Curling’s Olympic and Paralympic Journey”.

I’ve stepped back from a lot of social media, I don’t find it helpful or healthy in today’s world, however, I am active on LinkedIn and also very occasionally BlueSky and Instagram.
