Hello I’m Christopher Hamilton, welcome to my little corner of the web.

I’m a writer, essayist and communications professional from Edinburgh, Scotland.

I also read a lot in order to refill the creative well, and as a writer, I also consider reading widely a fundamental part of my job. If you want to see what I’ve been reading, here’s all the books I’ve read this year, and last year.

I have a day job as the Head of Communications and Marketing for World Curling, who are the International Governing Body for the Olympic sport of curling and Paralympic sport of wheelchair curling.

That role has taken me to three Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games so far — PyeongChang 2018, Beijing 2022 and Milano Cortina 2026.

I’ve stepped back from a lot of social media, I don’t find it helpful or healthy in today’s world. Instead I treat this blog as my version of social media (like it’s 2010 all over again).
